Nurse Technician - Acute
The Nurse Technician is responsible for assisting in the delivery of both direct and indirect patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. They also provide quality care to patients as specified in the individualized care plan and assignments, according to the hospitals’ policies, procedures, and objectives. To provide a safe and clean environment for all patients. Under the supervision of an RN, the extern provides assistance with the activities of daily living, physical comfort, and emotional and social support to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. All staff and students behave in a professional manner that is consistent with the mission of Claiborne County Medical Center.
II. Position Requirements:
A. Education: Completion of basic nursing skills course at an accredited nursing program. The Nurse Tech must be in good standing of a nationally accredited nursing program with completion of first semester of acute care clinical course. Additional Information Shift : Other Contact Information
