To provide quality care to patients as specified in the individualized care plan and assignments, according to the hospitals’ policies, procedures, and objectives. To provide a safe and clean environment for all patients. Under the supervision of the nurse, provides assistance with the activities of daily living, physical comfort, and emotional and social support to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Behaves in a professional manner that is consistent with the mission of Claiborne County Medical Center.
Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current certification in the State of Mississippi as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Must have current CPR/BLS certification.
B. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
C. Experience: Six (6) months experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred. Special qualifications: Ability to understand and carry out routine non-technical, oral and written objectives relative to care of patients and or residents; strength and mental alertness; willingness to cooperate and to carefully follow a prescribed routine; discretion; ability to get along well with others and to secure cooperation of patients.
